Offering luxury stays at an affordable price in an intimate atmosphere is the challenge that motivated Sylvain, traveler at heart like his partner Olivier, to create a warm and cozy tourist establishment in more tropical regions. Entrepreneur in a four-star campsite in Bidart, in the Basque Country, his first trip to Costa Rica in 2009 let him return to France with this idea in mind : to set up a tropical lifestyle.
Ten years later and after several visits to the country, this idea is taking shape: it will be an hotel with swimming pool and jacuzzi in Uvita, in the middle of the most biodiverse tropical forest in the world, within an atmosphere muffled where the pleasure of the Pacific Ocean reigns in the background.
He therefore designed with Olivier Faremiti hotel, more peaceful and intimate, with the desire to have only a few customers, within a minimalist structure in total harmony with the elements. A haven of peace has emerged.
Passionate about extreme sports such as surfing, spearfishing and paragliding Olivier Minvielle is above all an artist. At the head of a team of 50 people within his company Mahana Pearls, he has been building charming houses in Uvita for about 15 years, with a very particular aesthetic all his own. He also ran a gallery with designer jewelry, art objects, furniture and designer lamps…
When you arrive at the reception, which is also a shop, you will find some paintings by Olivier, swimsuits made by a local craftswoman, hats and other beach accessories, as well as some jewelry.
You will have understood, he is a man of taste, and who likes to share its art in his hotel. He and his wife Tatiana, always smiling, will be more than delighted to welcome you to their home. They are already waiting for you!
